The report is based on non-identifiable data on transactions of over 30,000 individuals in the Meniga community and provides a unique view of your competitive position in the Icelandic market. Your company is offered to select up to six companies for comparison to understand the following:

Development of market share and deviations between years
Total market share, sales, number of customers and number of business transactions for your company and major competitors
Number and proportion of new, loyal and lost customers for the last 6 months of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019
Average basket and average length between transactions between your customers and competitors
Gender and age distribution in your company and competitors

About the Annual Report

The sample counts card transactions of over 30 thousand individuals who meet Meniga's requirements for data quality, e.g. continuous business history throughout a period.

Meniga has information on age and gender for approx. 65% of the sample.

Data in the report is based on card transactions of Icelandic debit and credit cards but does not cover cash transactions or foreign cards.
